Grateful for:
- loving way we all care for each other
- your tender and meaningful service in your callings
- your sustaining of the teachers, leaders and others in their callings. I especially want to call out the thoughtful ways that you help with our building cleaning assignments and that you switch with other members when your assignment conflicts with personal and family activities.
- the way you remain informed as you regularly check your email and messages to know of upcoming service opportunities as well as times we can gather in activities
- wonderful counselors who love the Lord and seek to serve with all diligence
- caring stake leaders who teach and guide with love and kindness
- prayers and service on behalf of me and my family for my recent surgery
- for your testimonies of the Lord Jesus Christ and His restored church

Wise Stewards
One day I was walking and pondering about the decreased amount of precipitation we have received this year and what we can do about it. I reflected on invitations from government leaders to fast and pray for the needed water in the past and began to think about the faith and trust we have in our Father in Heaven and that He will listen to our prayers. I wondered if part of our faith may also be reflected in the way we show gratitude for the blessings that we have already received. Maybe one way we can show our faith is by looking for ways that we can help our limited resources to go further than before by how we conserve. Maybe we can show our faith by listening to our civic leaders and following their lead on things we can do to help the situation we find ourselves in.
We have good examples of this in our church leaders. When California was going through drought a few years back, the temples no longer had green lawns. They followed the restrictions that we in place. This showed the community that we seek to be good citizens and also I believe it was a good example of the way we can all work together when times require sacrifice from everyone and built a sense of unity.
